Cheap Getaway Burot Beach Calatagan Batangas!

Hi guys! It's been a year since I posted a blog. I'm sorry for that. So I just started my year for bueno mano travel getaway with my friends! And we went to the beach on January 4 and 5, 2014! We are too excited for summer! Lol. So my friend found this beautiful place called "Burot Beach" in internet! It's very affordable, 3hours trip from manila and it was a "beautiful beach". So here is the beach that we went on! I use only my iphone 5 to capture everything!

See I told you it's very beautiful. They said that this is unexplored island in Calatagan, Batangas. This island is owned before by Elizaldes, but was recently bought by Henry Sy which is the owner of SM malls. So this place is secured by SM guards so don't worry about the security of this place! The only thing that we experienced there is the "theft dog", yes! a dog ate our food for dinner which is kinda annoy cause the market there is so far! But they have a small store there, a bit pricey and they only sell instant food like can goods, noodles. They have an entrance fee of P60.00 pesos for day tour and P120.00 pesos for overnight.

(this shot is captured by iphone 4)

I must say this is the worth the money! For very very affordable budget you will experience this scenery. It's not crowded, most of the crowd stay only for day tour! But we avail the overnight tour even we knew that  is "no electricity" there. We are ready for that! Haha. It's very easy to go there, we decided to commute than to use a car! I swear it's so easy to go there! So here are some of our pictures! We went to other islands.

This island called "Sand Bar Island" look at the water is so clear! Ugh! if you see a black thing at our back in the water that is "sea urchins" so be aware of that!

This one is in "Star Fish Island" they are so many starfish in this island, we decided not to stay too long there cause when you step at the sand it is so slimy because of the sea grass and the boat man said it is the food of the starfish.

You can't take home starfish cause they did not allowed it. I'm sorry guys I'm afraid in starfish that's why I don't have any picture holding it. :)
The last island is the "Coral Reef Island" which you can literally see in the picture! The water here is high and we don't know how to swim. lol. I do like mostly here but it kinda tiring to swim with life jacket! But the coral reef is so beautiful. Can you guess how much we paid for this island hopping? Well, it is only P300.00 pesos only! Yes it is P100.00 pesos per head only. Dang so cheap right!

And of course we waited for the breath taking view of sunset with some colds drinks! :)

And we told to our self that the "adventure begin". Haha. Cause I told you guys there is no electricity there! They sell bonfire woods there and they had a tent for rent! We brought mosquito repellent, katol, blanket (we are thinking that it is cold at night) but the heck guys! It is not cold at night! It is more cold at morning, lol. But bring some so that your ready guys! It is so dark outside our only light is the bonfire and the torch light which is also you can rent there!

So here how you can get there! We went there by a van going to Calatagan, Batangas! The terminal is located at the back of Kabayan Hotel at the taft station! The fare is only P180.00 pesos each! And you will drop off at the Calatagan market which is very easy cause that is the last stop of the van and where you will ride a tricycle going to Burot Beach. There is so many tricycle that will offer you to go to Burot Beach, we pay P150.00 pesos (tatlo na kami dun). And then at the beach we pay P120.00 pesos each cause we are overnight tour, P200.00 pesos for the table, P300.00 pesos for the tent (the tent is good for 3 person), P100.00 pesos per head for island hopping, P200.00 pesos for bonfire wood and P70.00 pesos for light torch.
